I had an exceptional experience with the staff and Dr. Drew McCaffrey. My teeth are in terrible condition, and I came in feeling a lot of shame. The team helped me set that aside with their kindness and professionalism. During my visit for a deep cleaning and tooth extraction, I was a challenging patient. I had an anxiety attack, and my blood pressure was too high to use the intended numbing medicine. Despite this, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel calm and comfortable. They provided apple juice to help with my blood sugar and gave me all the time I needed to relax. Even though my blood pressure remained too high for the original plan, Dr. McCaffrey had a backup strategy. He managed to numb the area effectively, allowing Giselle to proceed with the deep cleaning. She did an outstanding job! When it came time for the extraction, Dr. McCaffrey addressed all my concerns and answered my questions thoroughly. I was especially nervous about aftercare and pain management, as I have a very low pain tolerance. While I initially doubted the prescribed antibiotics and steroid pack would be sufficient, Dr. McCaffrey reassured me they would be. I explained to him that I have a very low pain tolerance and wanted to ensure I’d be as comfortable as possible during recovery. I hope I didn’t come across the wrong way—I was just feeling very anxious about managing pain effectively. Initially, I doubted that the antibiotics and steroid pack would be enough, but he stood firm in his recommendations. While I felt frustrated at first, I later realized how effective the steroids are supposed to be for pain relief and feel a bit silly for doubting him. Now that the numbing medicine has worn off, I’m relieved to say there’s barely any pain! The ladies in the front office were amazing as well! The entire team was very professional, extremely knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly. If you’re searching for a new dentist, this office is unbeatable. I’ve been to at least a dozen dental offices, and this one is truly the best!
